BTO Club Kids Art Contest 

Kids! How would you like your artwork to appear on the cover of the winter issue of the Big Train Operator Magazine?

Get out your drawing paper, crayons, pencils, and paints and create a winter or holiday scene with your favorite G-scale train on it. There will be a prize of a G-scale car for each of these age groups: 6 & under, 7—9, 10—12, 13—17.

HERE ARE THE RULES FOR SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY:

1. One of your parents or grandparents must be a BTOC member in good standing.

2. Your artwork must be drawn by you. Do not write on the back of your artwork. On a separate sheet of paper, write your name, age, parent’s name or grandparent’s name (if your parents are not members of the BTOC), your mailing address, email address (if you have one) and your phone number.

3. Your artwork must be drawn on white paper. The drawing cannot be larger than 7 inches by 7 inches. Draw a 7” x 7” box and make sure your drawing stays inside the box.

4. Your artwork may be colored or black & white. You may use any kind of crayon, paint, colored pencils, or other drawing material you like.

5. Your artwork must have a train on it and have a winter or holiday theme.

6. Your entry must be received in time for the winter 2018, Big Train Operator magazine #170, so all entries must be received by October 1, 2018.

Since this is all done voluntarily and in good faith, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by mail delivery or other strange circumstances.

*BTOC grandparents, please note: The board of directors have approved your grandchildren eligible, even if their parents are not members of the BTOC. Your name must be on the paper submitted with your grandchild’s artwork.

There will be one winner chosen from each age group and a prize for each of the four winners, but the editor may or may not put all winners on the cover of the Big Train Operator. DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: OCTOBER 1, 2018.
